" തന്മുദ്ര "(Kollam district level disability survey and 𝗨𝗗𝗜𝗗 registration drive)

Disabled people in our distinct was about 65000 and who have the UDID(Unique Disability Identity Card) issued by central government is about 35000. So, as part to availing UDID for all disabled people in our district, the UDID issuing authority and the NSS of  Kollam district conducted an UDID registration drive. And me and Nazeem along with our programme officer Prathibha teacher went to the Collectorate  at 10 am on 10th January of 2024 to participate in the drive. Where so many officials and NSS volunteers from other Higher secondary school, ITT, Arts colleges and B. Ed colleges were participated. UDID district coordinator explained method of registering us as a volunteer and how can we register the disabled. After that, the Hounarable district collected Mr. Devidas communicate with us. We get refreshments. Anf at 1 pm the section came to be an end. Me and Nazeem registered as a volunteer from there. This is a great opportunity for all NSS volunteers to serve for our district.
